ChargeLink launches new business direction — Storage and 6.5 kWh Power Module for EV Chargers, homes, and businesses.

San Francisco, Calif. (Dec. 7, 2022) — Clean energy hardware company ChargeLink announced a new business direction — Storage, and a new product — a 6.5 kWh Power Module.

The Power Module is a 6.5 kWh smart energy storage for backup protection, stabilization, and independence designed to be easily installed and integrated into a variety of electrical grids, houses, and EV charging systems. With easy installation, it provides a convenient and efficient way to manage energy and charge EVs.

ChargeLink’s storage expansion will accelerate research and development, bring new cutting-edge hardware and software systems to the market and comply with new government incentives while scaling its offerings in current EV charging business lines with utilities, real-estate developers, property owners, and partners.

The Electric Vehicle market is growing exponentially. More than 30 new EV models will be on the road by 2030. California, Massachusetts, and many other states will ban sales of new combustion engine vehicles by 2035. It all means only one thing — the demand for the EV Charging business is growing.

The problem the US faces today is the poor electrical grid, power outages, and high energy prices. Gas, coal, and electricity prices have, in recent weeks, risen to their highest levels in decades. The average American experienced over 8 hours of power outages in 2020. Many real-estate developers and utilities can’t install more charging solutions because simply — there is no good infrastructure to supply the demand.

President Biden announced an infrastructure bill as part of his administration’s efforts to improve the country’s infrastructure.

With Power Module, businesses can install more charging stations, and households can collect clean solar energy into storage and back up their houses during a blackout.

Independent power

Reduce your reliance on the grid by storing energy in a Power Module. You can use it as an addition to the grid or a separate system to have a stable and high-quality power supply.

Backup protection

It stores your solar energy for backup protection, which gives you power when the grid goes down. The smart system detects outages and automatically recharges

Stabilizes voltage with no additional expenses

Stabilizes voltage in a wide range from 0 to 280 V via double conversion mode. Which means it improves power grid load and power grid loss.

Reduces energy bill and peak grid loads

An intelligent system identifies the most power use periods and creates a schedule to reduce your energy bill. Customize settings for personalized savings in the app.

Control, Monitor, Optimize

With the ChargeLink app, you can monitor your energy in real-time. Set your preferences to optimize energy independence, outage protection, or savings.

Scalable solution for larger projects

ChargeLink’s unique technology allows the batteries to integrate, you can scale your projects up to 104 kWh. (16 Power Modules)

The Power Module weighs only 286 pounds (130 kg) and can be mounted on a wall or brought to the construction location instead of a diesel generator.

To continue accelerating the world to a sustainable future, ChargeLink is building software-defined and hardware-enabled capabilities that solve grid problems with clean technologies today. Storage will enable utilities and households to operate the grid at a greater scale across many energy directions.

Emerging technologies — like solar, batteries, and EV chargers— are forcing industries to shift to a sustainable future.

“We have many clients who would love to install charging stations quickly and get money from the government, but unfortunately, it takes 6 or more months until it can happen; with batteries, we can install charging stations in a matter of days. The battery will also allow us to install more chargers at one location. From the consumer standpoint, it’s a great technology to store energy and stay independent. The battery can be used as a generator, as backup power for your house, or as a medium-scale storage solution for energy distribution partners since you can combine up to 16 Power Modules. I’m excited about what’s coming in 2023. “ — Anatoly Corp, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of ChargeLink.

The future of ChargeLink looks bright as the company continues to expand its line of batteries and EV chargers. The company has partnered with businesses and organizations across the country to install its chargers in convenient locations. This will make it easier for EV owners to find a place to recharge and will help to reduce range anxiety.

With its innovative products and commitment to sustainability, the company is well-positioned to become a leader in the EV industry. ChargeLink is looking to launch pilot projects and expand its products to megapacks and grid technologies in the near future.

California to Ban the Sale of New Gasoline Cars by 2035

1) At least 12 other states could potentially adopt the new California zero-emissions vehicle mandate relatively soon

2)
In Washington, President Biden last year signed an executive order calling for the government to try to ensure that half of all vehicles sold in the United States be electric by 2030, up from 6 percent today, although the order has no binding legal force.
